Premise
The show features guest stars talking to Shaun about their fantasy festival line-ups - "from the first band waking up your senses to that emotional sunset slot and the all-important headliner".[1] There have been three series to date.
It’s “a more rock’n’roll version of the classic Desert Island Discs format, where people’s connection to music reveals something of their emotional landscape.”[2]
Guests have included Dan Reynolds of Imagine Dragons[3], friend and BBC Radio 6 Music show guest Jodie Whittaker[4], and Bobby Gillespie of Primal Scream[5]. There have been two live specials to date; Live at Glastonbury festival with Dick and Dom[6], and Live at Latitude festival with Groove Armada[7].
