Having started out in 2018 on Duggystone Radio, Dan became involved with Community Garden Radio when it was founded by former BBC 6Music presenter Shaun Keaveny in late 2021.

CGR listeners cottoned on to the fact that Dan had a Thursday night show on Duggystone and quickly realised how good it was. With Community Garden Radio expanding, a group of listeners campaigned for Dan to bring the Reggae Show to the CGR audience, and in February 2023 Dan presented his first regular live Tuesday night show.

Since then his dedicated group of listeners has grown, with an age range of under-7 to over-70, and fans have even produced their own range of merchandise including t-shirts and stickers to spread the word. In November 2023 Dan broadcast the Reggae Show from Newcastle as part of a Community Garden Radio event with a live audience, effortlessly making those listening at home feel just as involved as everyone who was actually in the room.
