The post-mix of episode 065 was made by Scott Duncan, called CGR Mix. It began broadcast at 3.18pm GMT but due to technical issues, it was not played in its entirety. It was replayed the following week on Episode 066.

Scott's playlist is a concept playlist, which he explained in the Discord:<blockquote>Today’s mix is inspired by the Late Night Tales mixes and takes the listener on a journey from the dying embers of a house party, through an inner city bus journey, a drunken dreamscape and a hungover morning.</blockquote>

Playlist notes
The listener is taken on a journey, which Scott explains below:
Nick Drake – Three Hours
We start the mix at the tail end of a house party descended into passing around a bottle of supermarket vodka and a guitar. Nick Drake is one of the best songwriters of all time in my opinion and this is one of his best.
Pete Docherty – Sheepskin Tearaway
The guitar is passed to an even drunker partygoer but the songs continue to flow. One of Doherty’s most beautiful songs with help from the beautiful voice of Scotland’s own Dot Allison.
Obongjayar – I Wish It Was Me
Our protagonist begins to feel the party slipping away and after this song decides it’s home time. Obongjayar was one of the best live gigs I have seen this year at the newly refurbished KOKO. A brilliant performer.
DJ Shadow – Midnight In A Perfect World
The reason it is home time? The clock on the wall reads a quarter past midnight! Our protagonist staggers to the bus stop in the rain .Got very well outvoted on Endtroducing… by DJ Shadow on  Tufti’s album show last week but deserves a good listen.
Burial – Archangel
With face pressed against the glass, sleep is fought while the rainy city-scape slips by. Burial is a genius… I don’t think that needs anymore right?
Midlake – Roscoe (Beyond the Wizard’s Sleeve Remix)
Spilling out of the bus into a slippery suburb street. Still miles from home, the lonely trudge to the door begins. Already a brilliant song, this remix brings it to a whole other realm. Also, who doesn’t love a backwards guitar solo!
Dorothy Ashby – Come Live With Me
Our protagonist get the key in the lock and falls blindly through the front door. They aim for but miss the empty sofa downstairs, the room spinning as they slip into a disrupted sleep. Jazz harp… Again I will say no more and let the music do the talking.
Arctic Monkeys – Batphone
The dreaming begins and, as is often the case, there is no rhyme or reason to where it begins. Tonight a bat-cave under a moon base. One of the Arctic’s most underrated songs on their strangest and most out-there album. Perfect for a dream sequence.
Peppino Gagliardi – Che Vuole Questa Musica Stasera
The bat-cave our character has been meandering around gives way and they are transported to a picturesque Italian villa party. Used in the Man from UNCLE movie a few years ago. A great piece of music. I know every word and have no idea what it means!
Laurent Voulzy – Cocktail Chez Mademoiselle
Our character moves inside to get away from the villa party and find themselves being handed a very colourful drink in a French cocktail bar. We descend deeper… A more recent find which jumped out to me while listening to Herb Sundays playlist. Cracker of a bassline.
Cande y Paulo – Esperandote
Down the stairs our protagonist appears out of the front door we stumbled through earlier. We appear to be waiting for the man but something feels different. A bit of a throwback on CGR with an Argentinian twist. A beautiful cover and another one which I can recite word for word and at least I know what this one means!
Patsy Cline and The Jordanaires – Crazy
Our protagonist wakes to find themselves alone where they fell. Head pounding they remember they met the love of their life last night. Unfortunately, they have no idea what they looked like or what their name was. Useful. A favourite of mine for a long time. The funky chord progressions in the opening make this a great song to bring us out of the dream sequence.
The Divine Comedy – Bang Goes the Knighthood
Our character begins to doom scroll Twitter, reading of the sordid life of an MP. The Divine Comedy (Neil Hannon) has some of the best lyricism to come out of Britain. Funny, sardonic and still very relevant 13 years on.
Kid Kapichi – Party at No. 10
Our protagonist continues to scroll and throws their phone to the side in frustration as more revelations about illegal get togethers in Downing Street come to light. Another up and coming band who I last saw at KOKO. This song was interspersed with choruses of “Doo Doo Doo Doo F*** the Tories”. Lovely stuff!
Small Faces – Ogden’s Nut Gone Flake
Finally our protagonist wrench themselves up and out the door, down the street to the local café. A full cooked breakfast brings them back to life and ready to face a new day. A great ending song from the Small Faces, perfectly encapsulates the feeling of rising our of a hungover state and regaining the confidence to walk in a straight line again.
