To bring up the channel list on mobile, you can either swipe to the right or press the three horizontal bars in the top left of the app. This will display the list of channels in the server, with new unread messages being displayed on '''bold''' text.

Yes, you can. On desktop, you can either hover over the message and press the arrow to reply to the message, or right click and click 'reply'. On mobile apps, you need to long press the message and press 'reply'. This will allow you to reply to a specific message and notify the user who you are replying to.

=== Help! My phone is blowing up with notifications! ===
You can turn off many notifications as possible, otherwise you'll find your Discord experience pretty overwhelming. On mobile, swiping right and look to the very top of the app, you'll see three dots next to the server name. Tapping on this will pop up the server information and inside the box will be a bell icon with 'notifications' underneath it. You can change your notification settings here or completely mute the server for an amount of time including indefinitely. Muting all notifications is '''recommended''' unless you are an advanced user of Discord where you can customise it to suit your needs.
=== There's these emojis under messages, what's that? ===
These are called reactions, you can add your own reaction with emojis or custom server emojis. On desktop, hover over the message and press the grey emoji with a + sign button and on mobile, long press the message and tap the grey emoji with a + sign button. You can add as many as you like but please don't spam.
=== Custom server emojis? ===
Anyone can add emojis to use in the server, helpful for recurring jokes and gags when listening back to the show. To do this, on '''desktop''' press the emoji button in the far right of the message box, scroll to the large + symbol to add an emoji. Please be aware of the requirements of adding an emoji whilst also being respectful of the nature of the emoji you're uploading. This feature is not available on '''mobile''' or browser versions of Discord.
