The Monday Night Album Club on the 2nd January 2023 is a listening party held on the Community Garden Radio Discord. It was the thirty-third edition of the Album Club, and the album chosen was Parallel Lines by Blondie. The pre-mix was curated by Tuftii.[1] The album was chosen as a part of the classic cut theme.

It was the first album club to be broadcast on Community Garden Radio.

Background

The album chosen via a vote in the Discord server, alongside Sticky Fingers by The Rolling Stones and London Calling by The Clash. Parallel Lines received five votes, while London Calling received four and Sticky Fingers received three[2]. The album was originally due to be played on the 27th December but was held back a week for the album club's live debut.
