The Wedding Playlist
The Wedding Playlist was introduced in Episode 004. As Shaun moved from BBC Radio 6 Music, which kept him up to date on new music, he created this playlist to keep him in touch with new music.[1]
The playlist contains tracks following the phrase "something old, something new, something borrowed and something blue". Typically the borrowed track is from a suggestion or something SWK has heard during the week, and the blue track is either a blues feel or contains the word 'blue' in the title.
In Episode 82 Shaun mentioned that his parameter for the Something Old track was "pre-1960", which he broke that week by playing an Everly Brothers track from 1965 - and so he can, as he makes the rules!
